As you move through these lessons, you won’t just study a single place or a single record in isolation. Instead, you’ll see events unfolding in a sequential timeline, connecting Old Testament history with Book of Mormon events as they happen across the world—so your family can better understand the “whole picture,” and not just separate pieces.

You are welcome to move at your own pace. Some families do a little each week. Others use it as a steady family routine. Either way, the goal is the same: truth, perspective, and a peaceful, strengthening family experience.

How This Course Works

2) Read Along

Your child can read while the narrator reads, building confidence and comprehension as you learn history together.

3) Reflect and Share

For families who want a deeper experience, each lesson includes gentle prompts to help your child:

• retell what they learned

• share an insight

• record a short response (optional, depending on how you’re using the course)

• color the lesson “coloring page”

Your Role as Parent

You don’t need to “teach” this course. BRIM provides the instruction.

Your role is simply to be a mentor beside your child:
