By accessing or using our website, purchasing a subscription or product, registering, or participating in BRIM learning experiences, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1) What BRIM provides
BRIM provides learning and discovery services for families, including:
- Online learning content and experiences (available now or launched over time)
- Parent/family resources and courses
- Subscriptions and memberships (including Founder Pricing where offered)
- Physical products (such as BRIM pet toys and related materials)
Some features may be announced with a future availability date. We may update and expand offerings over time.
2) Who may use BRIM
- Parents/guardians may purchase and manage access for their children.
- Learners under 18 may use BRIM only under the supervision and consent of a parent/guardian who agrees to these Terms.
- You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your account information current.
3) Accounts and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share login access outside your household (unless a plan explicitly allows it)
- Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly post BRIM content
- Attempt to interfere with website security or functionality
- Use BRIM in a way that violates any law or infringes rights of others
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.
4) Purchases, subscriptions, and billing
A. Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method according to the plan you selected (annual or other terms shown at checkout).
B. Founder Pricing
Founder Pricing, when offered, is subject to the terms shown on the Founder Pricing page, including:
- Founder pricing is available only during the founder enrollment window.
- Founder pricing remains locked while your subscription remains active.
- Founder pricing is non-transferable.
BRIM may modify pricing for new customers at any time, but active Founder subscriptions keep Founder pricing under the listed conditions.
C. High school pricing
High school pricing (when offered) may differ from Founder Pricing and may be available year-round as listed on the site.
D. Taxes and fees
Prices may not include applicable taxes or required fees, which will be shown at checkout where applicable.
5) Refunds, cancellations, and returns
Because BRIM includes digital access and time-based subscription services, refund terms depend on the product type:
A. Digital subscriptions and digital access
- Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once access is provided, unless required by law or otherwise stated at checkout.
- If BRIM experiences a major access outage or cannot deliver core access for an extended period, we may offer a prorated credit or refund at our discretion.
B. Physical products
Physical products (such as pet toys) may be eligible for return if:
- The item arrives damaged or defective, or
- The return request is made within [14/30] days of delivery, and
- The item is unused and returned in original condition (unless defective)

6) Product availability and “coming soon”
If we list features, pets, or content as “coming soon,” we will make good-faith efforts to deliver on the announced timeline, but timelines may shift due to production, platform development, vendor supply, or quality standards.
We may substitute comparable elements where reasonable (for example, a comparable pet model or delivery method) if needed to fulfill a benefit or bundle.
7) BRIM pet behavior and boundaries
BRIM pets (digital and physical) are designed to support learning and discovery time as:
- Motivators and coaches
- Step-by-step helpers
- Encouragers that build confidence and steady progress
BRIM pets are not intended to replace real relationships or provide exclusive emotional dependency. Parents/guardians remain the primary support and supervision for their children.
8) Intellectual property
All BRIM materials (including text, lessons, videos, graphics, designs, and branding) are owned by BRIM or licensed to BRIM and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use BRIM content only for your personal household learning use as allowed by your plan. You may not:
- Copy or distribute BRIM content publicly
- Resell or sublicense content
- Use BRIM content to create competing products
9) User submissions (optional)
If you submit feedback, testimonials, suggestions, or other content to BRIM, you grant BRIM a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it to improve BRIM and communicate about BRIM, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.

10) Disclaimers
BRIM provides educational content and tools, but results vary by learner and family context. BRIM does not guarantee specific outcomes (grades, test scores, admissions, etc.).
BRIM is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- BRIM is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- BRIM’s total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid to BRIM for the product or subscription giving rise to the claim in the last [3/6/12] months.
Some states do not allow certain limitations, so portions may not apply to you.
12) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BRIM harmless from claims arising out of:
- Your misuse of the site/services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
13) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. If terminated for misuse, refunds are not provided.
You may cancel subscriptions according to the cancellation method shown in your account or checkout platform.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing law and disputes
